Preparing for Friday's Feeding Frenzy

many hundreds and perhaps thousands of people, worldwide, are eagerly waiting for the questioning of geoffrey jackson at the australian royal commission on institutional response to child abuse.

this is the day that many have hungered for.

finally, a member of the governing body being questioned and compelled to make full disclosure, to the best of his knowledge, the very best of his knowledge.

Justice McClellan was annoyed by not being made aware of the authority of Jackson as a GB top dog. Material needed if any one here could ..

hello again.. splash had a pile of scriptural evidence which he uploaded and it was good material.

it established the gb as the fds and used watchtower study articles.........i don't know if he was the only one but the material flew in the face of what those men have been saying.

it proves, using their own material how they indeed think they are the ones with the direct control over millions of lives, because as you know.........they are the direct hot line to god.

RC and comming legislation

the rc put it to spinks that there is comming legislation comming out of these proceedings, of which mandatory reporting, to be worked out.

criminal charges for those in clergy positions failing to make the report.. in the post "contacted by royal commission today" "umbertoecho" stated that she was encouraged to seek compensation for damages.

mulling that post over in my mind i think the rc will legeslate a means that the victims of jehovah witnesses will be able to gain compensation from the watchtower much like the catholics.

In the post "Contacted by Royal Commission Today" "umbertoecho" stated that she was encouraged to seek compensation for damages. Mulling that post over in my mind I think the RC will legeslate a means that the victims of Jehovah witnesses will be able to gain compensation from the Watchtower much like the Catholics.

I would also think from the line of questioning that somehow they will craft into legislation a means that will make the religious organization somehow responsible for the actions of its agents. So a elder could be jailed for not reporting but also sanctions for his organization.

In a post of mine a Aussie said of the RC that "these guys are a 'iron fist in a velvet glove' " These guys came into these proceedings knowing where they want to go.

someone posted about this not long ago but i could not find it.. in deut.23:25-27 it talks about the girl being raped in the field, and no one is around to help her.

she is not to be put to death .. she did not sin.. the man is to be put to death.

how can he be put to death on her word alone ?

The JW's 2 witness rule applied to Molestation is wrong AND HERE'S WHY

this is not the first time i've written about this, but with the royal commission happening here in australia, and having fought against the wts on this problem of molestation in the wts over a period of 15 years i feel a need to explain what i found which contradicts what the wts says and the way they handle cases within their society.. i am not going to give the history of my involvement but just state simply why no-one can believe what the wts says ,and we all know the scriptures they use to not handle cases of molestation properly , so here goes , it's not tricky or hard to understand i think, but just use the bible against them (hope this is used at the commission).. i,m using the revised berkely version in plain english here ,.

the context is law giving in the book of deuteronomy ch 22 : vs 22 - 27. vs 22 "when a man is surprised abed with a married woman,they shall both die ,the man who lay with the woman and the woman too; you shall wipe out the evil from israel.".

so this is easy to grasp ,man sleeps with married woman ,judged to die -they got caught.. next vs 23- 24 "when a man comes upon a girl in the city, who is a virgin betrothed to another , and he lies with her,24 you shall bring them both to the gate of the city and stone them to death, the girl because she did not cry out, although the city was all about her, and the man because he violated his neighbour's wife.

cattails What I picked up from WOZZA was there only being one witness, the victim necessary for judgment to be passed. If the 'two witness rule' was applied there would need to be a second witness in order for the judgment of vs 25 to have been passed.

WOZZA I emailed your workmanship to Martin McKenzie-Murry asking him if it was possible to foward it to a Commission attorney on the outside chance your line of reasoning could be presented to a elder in the proceedings.

As my custom just like Martin Luther I taped the "Saturday Paper" article to the 5 Kingdom Halls in Redding Calif.and included your workmanship.

Deut.22: 25-27 is one of the coolest pieces of work I have read. Thank you.

I have a lady at the bank, who was in the "Peace Core" in Australia with a Aussi husband. I asked her about the Royal Commission to which she said;

" the Royal Commission is the Queen! It has the power to remove the entire Austrailian government of which she did [I think she said in 1972].

She told me this "Royal Commission" was actually started 15 years ago but had its roots in WW2. During the bombing of England the church's took in the displaced children, of which they shipped off 50 thousand to Australia for child labor. The church's told the orphans that their parents were killed during the Blitz, they told the parents that the children were killed in the Blitz. The Queen of England formed this Commission in order to try to unite these famlies even after all these years. Evidently the Catholics were one of the biggest offenders in shipping off ot these so called 'orphans' to Australia. So what was started to reunite famlies has become a evolving continous thread where the Queen is dealing with abuse of children at the hands of religion.

She said we in the USA have no idea just how big a Royal Commission can be.

Do you remember the 15 minute break at the Sun. meeting?

a poster on another thread reminded me of when there was a 15 min.

break between the talk and the wt study on sundays.

the break was supposed to be to allow jw's time to drive their bible studys home from the talk.

I remember the break. Those that do also remember the paper wall charts where field service were tallied for every month as to whether the congregation quotas were reached.
